[TRE-general] can't find a register in class `GENERAL_REGS' while reloading `asm'

Took a look at upgrading tre from 0.7.2 to 0.7.5, and
found that it doesn't compile. Details of error is below.

Googling around on the error message, it seems possible
the problem is that I have a pentium 3 but I'm not
wholly certain. I also found that I can work around by
setting CFLAGS="-O1".

What is the cause, and is there a general solution
for this? My concern is that I'm including (and
configuring) TRE with my app, so I like it to work
out of the box for all my users.

Thanks,
Greg
